“Sorry it has taken me 3 weeks to write a thank you to you. I want you to know how deeply my family and I appreciate all that you did to make my parents 50th wedding anniversary a success. Working with Carol and Sherry made things fall right into place. Even though dad was a little under the weather and it rained like the dickens the day of the party, everyone had a nice time. It was fun for my folks to see old friends. I sure hope is not 20 years before I get back to Captiva. Being on the island brought back great memories for me. I told my kids about how my friends and I from Cypress Lake High School would spend days at Bowman Beach and how my mom and I would go shelling by the lighthouse on Sanibel when I was young! I really like it here in Pointe Vedra Beach, but Sanibel and Captiva still have a draw for me. Tony, thank you again for all that you’ve done.”

“I was married at ‘Tween Waters this past weekend and it was perfect. I had 60 guests, most staying for 3 nights. We all had a fabulous time. The accommodations were great. We stayed in a cottage, which we loved. Many of my guests were in suites which are nice as well.
We rented chairs for the beach for our guests and the beach was a big hit. It wasn’t crowed and the water temperature was heavenly. The pool, too, was wonderful.
We ate lunch most days at the pool bar. Delicious sandwiches and friendly service. We especially liked Karen and Lisa. Complimentary breakfast at the Old Captiva House was great, too. More food than you could eat and so much fresh fruit.
Most staff went out of their way to accommodate us. They even asked about the wedding afterwards and were so wonderful to us.
Planning the wedding was a good experience. Sherry, the wedding coordinator, responded to all my e-mails over the last year and a half at lightening speed. She goes by the book, but is willing to think outside the box if there is an idea you have that you’d really like to do. My ceremony was scheduled for much later than normal. We had dinner first and the ceremony at sunset (8:30), which worked perfectly. Nan was sent over to coordinate the night of the wedding and she was awesome.
I really loved the weekend. The resort is perfect for a laid – back, keysy feeling wedding. I enjoyed spending three days with my guests – everybody traveled from out of town. It was low-key fun.”

“Jim and I had the pleasure of being married at ‘Tween Waters Inn on Saturday, July 8, 2006. On behalf of Jim and myself, I would like to thank you and your wonderful staff for helping us create a wedding that exceeded all of our expectations. In addition to being married on your premises, we were also guests at your facility from July 6-13 and during that time every staff member that we interacted with, from housekeeping staff to the front desk staff was extremely courteous, polite and helpful.
I would like to say that Sherry was an absolute joy to work with in putting our wedding together. Because of her efforts and assistance on our behalf, our wedding was perfect and completely free of any glitches whatsoever, which is usually rare. Her graciousness and assistance to me on my wedding day enabled me to be free of stress and really enjoy the day. I commend you on placing the operation of your weddings and special events in the talented and efficient hands of Sherry. She is truly a gem and an asset to ‘Tween Waters. Additionally, on the day of my wedding when I thought we would be caught in the rain on the way to the spa, I was lucky enough to be assisted on the grounds by an extremely kind and courteous staff member with a golf cart who happened to be John. A gentleman by the name of Dan and the lovely servers who took care of our reception guests at the Canoe & Kayak Club were outstanding also.
I have traveled extensively and stayed at many luxury resorts, island destinations, cruises, etc. and I have to say that the amenities, staff, and customer service at ‘Tween Waters Inn are exceptional in every way.
Jeff, I also appreciated you taking the time to speak to me by telephone several months ago regarding my wedding plans.
