4 guests 1 bedroom 1 bed 1 bath
Over 70 years old, this historical seaside cottage is named after famed aviator Charles Lindbergh, who frequently vacationed to ‘Tween Waters Inn and Captiva Island in the 1940s. Located at the threshold to our private beaches along famed Captiva Drive, this charming Gulfview cottage is just steps to your beach paradise.
The 1-bedroom Captiva Island cottage is complete with rustic charm, including master bedroom with king bed and bath, kitchenette and relaxing screened porch with magnificent views, sunup to sunset. Bonus: TripAdvisor’s top-rated Old Captiva House (and Crow’s Nest Bar & Grille) are just moments away.
Behind the Name: Although unsubstantiated, Charles Lindbergh is rumored to have landed his plane on the beaches of ‘Tween Waters Inn on occasional arrival, while vacationing with his wife Anne Morrow Lindbergh. What an entrance that would’ve been.
The location is fantastic. We stayed in one of the cottages with a gulf view so the sunset views were amazing.
