Effective March 29, 2020, executive management of Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts has announced that ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa will voluntarily close to April 24, following Federal, state and local Coronavirus Health and Safety Guidelines. The date coincides with City of Sanibel mandates on rental lodging. The resort’s restaurants — Old Captiva House and Crow’s Nest Bar & Grille — will remain open for carry-out breakfast and dinner service.
“Our management team and our mission have always made the health and safety of our employees — as well as the general public — our top priority,” says Doug Babcock, Chief Executive Officer. “We felt that as leaders in hospitality management and marketing here in Southwest Florida, we needed to show leadership at a time it matters most. While this is a voluntary effort on our part, we believe that it’s the safe, smart effort that reflects our commitment to our guests, our community and our outstanding staff.”
